Infrastructure

The Collaboration Architect plays a key role in building out new solutions and supporting environments utilized to fulfill Bell’s business objectives. The position is responsible for collaboration apps’ availability, maintenance, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security. This position will also plan and execute SharePoint upgrade and SharePoint Online migration. It’s essential for the candidate to be able to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment. Availability to participate in a 7x24 on-call rotation and off-hours work is required.

What you’ll be doing as a Collaboration Architect

• Manage the entire technical lifecycle for SharePoint environments, third-party tools, and solutions.

• Support SharePoint Online and plan and execute future migration efforts.

• Maintain current industry knowledge of best practices, development concepts, and procedures.

• Research new technologies and how they will integrate within Bell’s portfolio.

• Manage and/or execute project work concurrently with maintenance and enhancements on existing applications.

• Write and maintain documentation of changes to solutions, configurations, and specifications.

• Provide on-call support for systems as required by the business and understand and document system interface requirements including disaster recovery.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring To This Role

• Windows Server Administration including Internet Information Services (IIS).

• SharePoint Administration with and without third-party tools (Site Collection Lifecycle Management, Backup/Restore, PowerShell Scripting).

• Creative analytical and problem-solving skills using tools like Fiddler, NetMon, WireShark etc.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written at all levels in the organization.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

What You Need To Be Successful

• 10 years’ experience in IT.

• SharePoint administration experience.

• PowerShell scripting proficiency.

• Knowledgeable in new and emerging technologies.

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting web applications preferred.

• Understanding of IT systems integration including client/server applications deployment and their associated interfaces preferred.
