Smith Excavating and Construction is a small business in Renovo, PA. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team. We provide excavation, demolition, and construction services for residential, commercial, oil and gas, municipal, state and federal agencies.

Job Duties/Skills:

• Operate of a variety of commercial vehicles
• Haul, load, and unload equipment and materials to/from and on the job site.
• Operate various types of construction equipment
• Perform general and preventive maintenance work on commercial vehicles

Job Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A Driver's License
• Class B Tanker Endorsement or willingness to obtain one
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Current DOT Valid Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests and background checks
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain and other weather-related aspects
• Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials on jobsite
• Experience in the residential and commercial construction field is a plus.

Work Hours:

• Typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Approximately 45 - 50+ hour work week

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
